This two story brick building, nestled inside the Delano residential district, sits on large, beautifully landscaped lawns and shaded by a variety of mature trees. A in-ground pool comes complete with a changing area, bathroom, a refrigerator, with a patio and grill, offering a secluded environment for a relaxing after-work swim or even a weekend get-together, what would be more perfect during the warm summer months?

Upon entering the  halls of the Martinson Apartments, you are greeted with remnants of a once-school for elementary children,  from the knee-high porcelain drinking fountains, to the antique teachers desk and rotary phone, old school books and flags, to even the stage downstairs in the former auditorium, where the children entertained their parents and teachers. Also you will find a framed history of Otto Martinson, the Delano developer that Martinson School was named after, adorning the main hall, as well as several vintage photos of this elementary school’s daily activities. Even an artful collage of the old gauges and bricks, and bell systems ringers, collected from the building, is also proudly displayed in the main hall.
